A Prayer For Alumni

This personal prayer session is shared as an invitation to alumni of all educational establishments to pause in gratitude, remember the foundations that shaped them, pray for teachers and current students, and renew their responsibility to the next generation.

May it help move hearts from memory to responsibility, from reunion to renewal, and from personal success to the raising of a worthy successor generation. Please use it personally and share it freely within your alumni, school, faith, family, professional, and community networks.

SHARPENING THE SAW (STS) WEEKEND Opportunity Needs Readiness An Opportunity Gallery Special Edition - From Reflection to Responsible Action “An open door is valuable only when we recognise what it offers, determine whether it fits our present journey, understand the obligations attached to it, and prepare ourselves to walk through it responsibly.” Opportunity Does Not Always Arrive as Money Many of us have learned to recognise opportunity only when it looks like money, employment, a contract, a grant or an immediate business opening.   Congratulations to the 2026 Batch B Stream I Corps Members on Your Swearing-In Today marks an important milestone in your National Youth Service Corps journey as you participate in the Swearing-In Ceremony at NYSC Orientation Camps across Nigeria. This document is designed as a practical guide to support young people as they transition from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) into the next phase of life - whether employment, entrepreneurship, further education, or other pathways into the broader marketplace. It reflects a structured attempt to consolidate key transition considerations including self-reflection, career planning, networking, job search strategies, financial planning, wellbeing, and adaptability. While this version is already a functional and usable guide, it is still part of a living body of work. It will continue to evolve into a more comprehensive transition systems framework that integrates deeper labour market realities, structured transition pathways, and implementation tools. Feedback, insights, and collaborative suggestions are welcome as we refine this into a ...
