JAMB Releases Official Guidelines for 2025/2026 UTME Registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued the formal guidelines governing the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration exercise.

The document outlines the required steps for Profile Code generation using candidates’ National Identification Numbers (NIN), authorised channels for e-PIN purchase, correct use of JAMB-accredited CBT Centres, and procedures for validating personal information before final submission.

JAMB also highlighted common challenges candidates may encounter - such as NIN verification errors and previously-used GSM numbers - alongside clear solutions to ensure a smooth registration process.

All prospective candidates are advised to review the guidelines thoroughly, correct any discrepancies with NIMC, use valid and functional contact details, and verify their biometrics during the registration exercise.
