WhatNext Africa Engages Unity Schools Old Students Association (USOSA) at 46th Plenary 2025




Abuja, Nigeria - October 2025.

As part of its ongoing Stakeholders Engagement on the WhatNext Calendar for the 2025/2026 School Year, WhatNext Africa, led by its Programme Director, Temitope S. Ogunnusi, participated in the 46th Plenary of the Unity Schools Old Students Association (USOSA) held in Abuja.


The engagement underscores WhatNext Africa’s mission to work collaboratively with education and alumni stakeholders to help young Nigerians make informed transitions from school to life, work, and nation-building.


During the plenary, Mr. Ogunnusi met with USOSA President-General, Mr. Michael Magaji, and introduced him to one of the organization’s flagship student resources - the “Life After Secondary School” pamphlet. The President-General commended the initiative, affirming the importance of mentoring programmes like WhatNext Africa’s. He expressed willingness to engage further and requested a formal letter outlining the programme’s objectives, value to USOSA, and potential areas for collaboration.


WhatNext Africa also set up a stand near the registration area, featuring display banners and distributing copies of the “Life After Secondary School” pamphlet to plenary participants from various Unity Schools. The gesture provided delegates with a glimpse of WhatNext Africa’s work in schools under the What Next After Secondary School Programme (WNASSP) - a nationwide initiative powered by the NYSC WhatNext Collaboration.


Following the positive reception, WhatNext Africa plans to deepen engagement with USOSA through advocacy campaigns and alumni-driven mentoring initiatives in the coming weeks.

    This is a wonderful ideology to be brought into reality among the African youths. It will help reveal and manifest destinies and what each youth has called to become. I will love to be part of the people contributing to the development.
